Peter’s peacock continued Cinderella’s march to the Elite Eight with an epic turmoil on Purdue and Twitter absolutely loved it.
Saint Peter did not shock their opponents or the world.
On Friday, the Peacocks became the first team in NCAA Championship history to advance to the Elite Eight as the No. 15 seed when they upset the No. 3 constructors in the Purdue Boilermakers.
Just like their previous victories, this one was marked by intense defense and unbeatable teamwork.
It’s hard not to root for Saint Peter’s and Twitter haven’t even tried. Everyone aboard the Peacock Train.

Saint Peter’s got 14 points from Daryl Banks III and beat KC Ndefo to outsmart the Boilermakers. They had a disadvantage under the basket but never let Purdue very comfortable, punishing their mistakes on both sides of the floor.
Now the Peacocks can look to take on UCLA or UNC in the Elite Eight. They have already made history. Who knows what kind of waves they’ll make next.
