In a wild turn of events, Kansas City Chiefs Mark Donovan said the team is considering moving the team out of town.
Now don’t look at Kansas City Chiefs fans, but head coach Mark Donovan just gave an update that no one will love. Donovan said Tuesday morning that the team is considering options for a new stadium, which would include moving away from Kansas City.
What in the world? With this said, not only would the Chiefs leave Kansas City, they could also leave Missouri as well. This will be heartbreaking for many.
Chiefs leaving Kansas City will anger countless people
A quick look at the responses to this new update will drive Kansas City fans crazy. The team brought back a lot of great memories for Arrowhead. Nobody will ever forget the team that won the Super Bowl over the San Francisco 49ers a few seasons ago.
On top of that, Patrick Mahomes became one of the best signal callers in the game and this squad is impressive on Sunday. However, the idea of this team leaving town just doesn’t sound right. While a move to Kansas, if it were to happen, isn’t too far away, it would still be an oddity for the team.
For now, everyone will be waiting to see what this team decides, but that kind of worry isn’t what anyone had hoped for. It’s bad enough that the team replaced Terek Hill with the Miami Dolphins, but now Kansas City fans have to worry about the team’s relocation, too?
