If you ask a New York Giants legend, it’s time for the NFL franchise to move in a new direction and provide replacements for Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.
New York Giants fans have always been upset with the direction the NFL franchise always seems to be heading. If you ask any number of fans what the giants have to do, many will say it’s time to hit the proverbial reset button, clean home, and start over.
One of the great giants seems to agree with this idea. In particular, he’s on board with the idea of New York going from start to center and back.
During his radio show, Tiki and Tierney, Tiki Barber publicly called on the franchise to move out of the quarterback and back in the back. Barber made his case and made an argument for the giants to start over.

As Barber explained, it’s better for the team to move on and fix everything than to try to keep a famous player in his place with the team.
“The reason I think they should try to trade Saquon is because if you’re going to zero to arrange your roof, do it,” Barber explained. “Don’t try to ease the pain by keeping a famous player here. If you want to reconfigure, this is a new system, a new philosophy, go all out.”
This isn’t necessarily a bad idea, especially considering how the Giants struggled to win and how Jones and Barkley struggled for production.
Who knows what the Giants will be obligated to do. Franchise is in need of some important help. Maybe they can get that by moving forward and starting over.
