One of the greatest college basketball announcers recently received some really great news. Dick Vital is free of cancer!
ESPN’s Dick Vitale is celebrating some great news. The college basketball broadcast legend is celebrating the fact that he has been officially told he is cancer free after battling the disease for the past seven months!
In the name of ESPN ReportsVitaly was able to follow “the end of his sixth chemotherapy by ringing the bell at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida.”
This moment has been coming for a long time. Unfortunately, Vitaly has been battling cancer for a while now. Doctors started treating him for a second type of cancer after he underwent treatment and multiple procedures to treat skin cancer
But now, thank God, Vitale is cancer-free.
And of course, Vital looks very cheerful, as he should be. This is a wonderful moment for him and his family. As he shared on Twitter, Vitaly was inspired by Jim Valvano’s famous “Don’t Give Up” speech.
I was inspired daily by the famous words of my late companion Jimmy V “Never give up and never give up!” ” Vitaly books.

And with this great news, the college basketball community is rallying around Vitale and celebrating with him this wonderful moment.
