Samuel is entering the final year of his contract with the rookie, where he will then hit free agency at the end of next season.
The wide receivers, as well as the quarterbacks, have been paid this season.
Christian Kirk has signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Davante Adams traded with the Las Vegas Raiders and secured a five-year deal worth $140 million. Tyreek Hill joined the Miami Dolphins and earned $120 million over four years after being traded from the Kansas City Chiefs. Stefon Diggs has reached an agreement with the Buffalo Bills to extend a four-year, $96 million contract.
Other wide receivers running out of volunteer drills looking for a new deal are the AJ Brown of the Tennessee Titans and Terry McLaurin of the Washington Commanders.
It remains to be seen if a deal is agreed upon between the two parties. Until then, we’ll keep you posted as new updates come out.
