Kevin Durant wasn’t the best offensively in the first two games of the Brooklyn Nets-Boston Celtics series. Explain why.
Kevin Durant hasn’t been the same lately and attributes it to the Boston Celtics’ defense. The Brooklyn Nets are now 0-2 after losing Game 2 last night 114-107.
Despite a solid night from Bruce Brown and Seth Curry, the main stars of the Nets just couldn’t move on. In Game 1, Kyrie Irving was great, scoring 30 points. But Durant only managed to score 23 points in a 9 out of 24 shot. In Game 2, Durant keep shooting. He shot 4 of 17 from the field and his 27 points came mainly from free throws. On the other hand, Irving was limited to just 10 points.
During Durant’s post-match interview, he talked about his struggles aggressively.
Can Kevin Durant and the Nates find out in Brooklyn?
The series is now turning into Brooklyn and even though the Nets are at a 0-2 hole, fans shouldn’t count them just yet. Durant must have had a 30-point game at some point. Durant is unlikely to allow his team to explode. Teams tend to do better in their own court, feeding off the energy of the fans. Going home might just be what the Nets need to win.
