After a resounding KO against Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury announced his retirement…kinda.
Tyson Fury left no doubt as he defended in front of the all-sold-out Wembley Stadium in London, England, for the heavyweight championship against Dillian White. In a one-sided affair, Fury used his powerful shots, inside action, and upper limbs to choke Whyte and eventually hit Whyte in the sixth round and retain the WBC title.
Fury was set to retire after Deontay Wilder was fired in October 2021 but returned to those plans after being offered to fight in front of his homeland. In his victory speech after the fight after enjoying the moment, he made his future known in front of a pro-angry audience.
“I think it is she. This may be the last curtain for the gypsy king,” said the hero.
