Tennessee State major baseball coach Tony Vitello is facing an online attack with his response to an Auburn Tiger bat that flipped in his team’s direction.
The Tennessee baseball team is known for hitting a lot of home runs and having all kinds of fun. The Vols celebrate regularly and make it clear that they are proud of their performance. Of course, when your team celebrates and is famous for its big gestures and bat swings, you can probably expect it in return when the opponent succeeds.
Tennessee State head coach Tony Vitilo received an intriguing reaction after the Auburn Tigers celebrated with a home run in the ninth inning.
As with many home runs, he ended up with a bat that flips over. Said Butt ended up bouncing straight into Foles’ bunker and Vitello quickly jumped to snag him and then threw him in the direction of the celebrating Auburn players.

Vitello was asked about the incident at a post-match press conference and it appears he has tried to play everything.
Of course, most Vols fans don’t seem to be too angry about the whole incident, but it’s not exactly great timing for the Tennessee coach because it wasn’t long after he came back from suspension after he I hit the referee during the controversy.
So while there are people in Knoxville who don’t mind all of this, other college baseball fan bases don’t seem to be fond of some of this. As this video went viral on Twitter, people had a lot to say and most of them didn’t hesitate at all.
This whole deal is really not a good look for folders, regardless of Vitello’s intention at that moment.
From the video, it’s hard to really tell what he was up to, but people online will assume he was angry at a house-run party, which would be incredibly hypocritical given incidents like This is amazingAnd This is amazingor This is amazing.
Auburn managed to win the match thanks in large part to him at home.
The chain is now tied at 1-1. It would be great to see how Game 3 unfolds between these two.
