More and more will be put on quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Even if Patrick Mahomes is the most sublime NFL left-back talent the NFL has seen in quite some time, he will have to do some heavy lifting this season for the 2022 Kansas City Chiefs.

Not only are West Asia strongest in the league, but Mahomes and his company will have to overcome the loss of key players such as Terek Hill, Tiran Mathieu and Carvarius Ward this off-season. Then again, that’s why the Mahomes got so much money. He already has a Super Bowl one on his resume. 2022 will be a season to watch how much workload he can handle.

Although The Chiefs remain a stellar team, the Mahomes will have to win those three games with their arm this season.

3. Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, December 4th)

This game could rank higher on this list if we had a better sense of what the Cincinnati Bengals would be like this year. They could face Super Bowl hangovers, but it’s hard to see Joe Burrow’s slowdown in that high-octane attack, as well as the defense taking a huge step back under Lou Anarumo’s guidance. If all goes well for the Bengals, he could be a serious candidate to direct the training.

The week 13 date in Cincinnati will be among the toughest road games on Chiefs’ schedule. The weather may be a factor in the early December game. Not to say it will matter for either team that is used to playing in poor conditions this time of year, but the stage is sure to be set for this high profile game among the AFC’s main rivals. The Mahomes must avenge the losses of the Bengals last year.

The Chiefs lost at Cincinnati late in the season a year ago. A few weeks later, Kansas City collapsed at home in an Asian Championship game against the Bengals. Although much has been made about the budding rivalry between Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, it was Burrow who was shown to be able to outsmart the boss’ star signal caller with much greater regularity.

Three straight losses for the Burrow and the Bengals will leave a terrible taste in the mouth of Kansas City.
