Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler continues to dominate the playoffs, embarrassing the Boston Celtics in the third quarter of Game 1.
Regardless of the fan base, NBA fans from all over the world were amazed by Jimmy Butler in the playoffs. Even Celtics legend Kendrick Perkins gave Butler his due, a testament to his commendable superiority — even as he embarrassed the beloved Boston side Perkins.
Here’s a stat to validate Perkins’ point: Jimmy Butler scored 41 points in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals Series against the Celtics.
And while the Jays are to blame for the Celtics’ rampant third-quarter volatility, Butler deserves accolades for his wild third-quarter stats.
One Reddit user noted that Butler outperformed the entire Celtics team in the third quarter alone: 17-14.
