Kentucky vs Louisville date set: Who has the advantage?

College basketball fans will be able to send 2022 with great fanfare with the newly scheduled Kentucky vs Louisville fight on New Year’s Eve.

Last year, college basketball lost the annual competition game between Kentucky and Louisville. This year, the game will return with an appeal.

John Rothstein reported Wednesday that the Battle of the Bluegrass will take place on New Year’s Eve at Robb Arena.

The two shows have enough history to make it worth watching, but the practice match adds up to the excitement. Kenny Payne is now the head coach of the Cardinals. He was a longtime assistant under John Calipari before leaving to join the Knicks crew. Many argue that Payne’s influence has been a huge part of the Kentucky coach’s success.

Kentucky vs Louisville date set: Who has the advantage?

While Payne certainly loves to make a statement against his former boss, it will be a tough job to get one on the Kentucky side.

Oscar Chiboy is back for another season and few teams will be able to slow down. Calipari also put together another great recruiting class that includes five stars Casson Wallace and Chris Livingston.

In the meantime, Payne will have to rebuild the Cardinals’ roster after a slew of transfers. The talent gap is now very wide.

Of course, the wild cats of Calipari are far from impregnable. Although they were named college basketball player of the year last year, they were bounced back from the first round by St. Peter, who faced a talent gap in that game as well.

When it comes down to it, it’s best to bet Tshiebwe is here. Kentucky has the advantage unless Payne advances with a masterful strike in training.
