Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wasn’t about to let Tom Brady walk over him before the “game” without a fight.
Mahomes and Brady have a long history dating back to the Chiefs’ second year in the league in 2018. Brady went out the winner in the first two games of that season, including the AFC Championship match. Since then, Mahomes has achieved the result.
But things could go differently on the golf course. Brady and veteran QB Aaron Rodgers will face young Mahomes and Josh Allen in “The Match.” This kind of scene always includes a lot of trash talk in the lead up to it, and TNT has delivered ten times as much.
While Mahomes and Allen lost that sporadic competition, the former is confident that they will do well in the actual tournament. Mahomes responded to Brady on social media.
In the end, this is all for good fun. Mahomes and Brady have the utmost respect for each other on the court. Far from it, it’s all about growing the brand of these two stars.
