Davis (26-0, 24 KOs) and Romero (14-0, 12 KOs) are both unbeatable with powerful punches and are looking to make a boxing legacy. It’s an interesting match that sees Davis as the preferred healthy bettor, but many believe Romero is a straightforward underdog.
Both boxers talked a lot in the lead up to this competition, but Romero’s raw assessment of Davis’ skills grabbed most of the headlines. They were supposed to fight months ago, but Isaac Cruz replaced Romero after sexual assault allegations against Romero.
No charges have been filed, and Romero vehemently denied the allegations recently while speaking to FanSided.
