Odi Osborne kicks Zarukh Adashev off in 61 seconds

The battle ended almost as quickly as it began. With Adashev going forward and throwing it, Osborne backed away and landed a right counter hook on the jaw that instantly brought Adashev down. Osborne jumped on top and fired a few quick shots before the referee could move and stop the fight. A superb knockout would likely earn Osborne a performance bonus at the end of the night.

With the win, Osborne improved to 11-4, with no challenger. With three wins in his last four fights, Osborne could soon enter the top 15 of the flyweight division. Adashev dropped to 4-4 in his MMA career. The former kickboxer has lost three of his last four fights and could be fired by the UFC.

Osbourne might get his wish and fight Molina in his next fight. Just minutes after being called up, Molina tweeted, “The story can get it over with.” Molina is 11-2 in his career and has won all three of his fights since joining the UFC.
