Draymond Green summons Celtics due to Steph Curry’s injury

The Warriors gave a grim update on Steph Curry’s injury after Game 3, and Draymond Green was quick to blame the Celtics for it.

It wasn’t a good night for the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night in Boston.

The Dubs lost by 16 points and are now 2-1 behind the Celtics in the NBA Finals. While the series isn’t over yet, fears mount in Game 3 outside the box, where Steve Curry emerges after being buried in a pile during a crazy scramble for a loose ball.

After the match, Warriors coach Steve Kerr made a point to say he removed Curry because of the result and not the injury but the bad news started piling up soon after.

ESPN’s Malika Andrew reported after the match that the Warriors weren’t quite sure how severe Steve’s injury would be.

“What a source inside the Warriors told me is that [Steph] Andrews said: SportsCenter with Scott Vanbelt.

There were two incidents that could have contributed to an unknown injury of currently unknown severity. During the Warriors’ comeback in the third quarter, Al Horford climbed into Steve’s landing area where he came down with a three-point shot. It could have been a lot worse than it was, but the move resulted in Steve falling awkwardly on hardwood.

Draymond Green hints that the Celtics are responsible for Steph Curry’s injury

Later, Steve was involved in this scramble for a loose ball which made him tangle with a number of Celtics players. The incident spoiled Draymond Green, something he claimed was caused by his reaction to what appeared to be an accusation of dirty play by Boston.

Andrews reported: “Draymond Green told reporters he made his sixth foul of the game trying to keep the Celtics away from Steve Curry who said he heard a scream at the bottom of that pile.”

As for Steph’s case of Game 4, this appears to be as vague as Draymond’s allegations of filth.

“Now I’m told Steph Curry hurts, they’ll know more tomorrow but [the Warriors] I’m not sure the extent of the damage or the extent of the injury yet,” Andrews said Sports Center.

Golden State has a day off before Game 4 tips Friday night.
