But, the Celtics are now back in Boston to play in front of their home crowd, which just so happened to include franchise legend Paul Pierce.

Boston defeated Golden State 116-100 to advance 2-1 in the series and take two away wins to win the 18th NBA Championship. Pierce decided to celebrate by going to Instagram Live. While he was filming, he noticed some Warriors fans in the distance and decided to roast them.

The win was by no means an easy win for the Celtics, as the Warriors returned in the third quarter. However, the Warriors were cool in the fourth quarter, putting together only 11 points after making 4 out of 14 attempts.

Meanwhile, the Boston trio of Jason Tatum, Jaylene Brown and Marcus Smart made NBA Finals history. They all put together 20 points, five rebounds and five assists each in a final, which happened for the first time since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson and Michael Cooper did it in 1994, According to ESPN statistics and information.

The Warriors, on the other hand, became concerned about Steve Curry’s positioning progression forward, after Al Horford landed on his left leg when chasing the ball in the second half.

Game 4 takes place on Thursday, June 10 at 9:00 PM ET live from TD Garden. Will it be the Warriors fan base or is Pierce the one who laughs last when the clock strikes triple zeros after that game?
