On the latest episode of The Shop, LeBron James expressed his desire to own the NBA team, and he wants to do so in Las Vegas.
LeBron James knows something about owning the professional sports franchises. He is a partner at Fenway Sports Group, which owns franchises such as the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins and Liverpool FC but has his eyes on the NBA.
During his appearance in the last episode of unbroken “The Store,” James expressed his desire to own the NBA franchise. Specifically, James said he would like to own a team based in Las Vegas.

James says wanting to own a team is nothing new, as he’s brought it up over the years. But, would a team in Las Vegas be a viable option?
Earlier this year, Bill Simmons ringer He said he had received “Intel” that the NBA would expand to Las Vegas and Seattle. He then said he thought James and the Fenway Sports Group would be interested in the Las Vegas franchise. However, the National Basketball Association responded, saying there was “no truth” in that.
Ahead of the NBA Finals, Commissioner Adam Silver said the league has no plans to expand to Seattle and Las Vegas after the 2023-24 season.
