“Shut up and go ahead”

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown is making a big announcement of himself, as he tries to assert his dominance over a Tennessee Titans fan on Twitter.

Nobody thinks the AJ Brown is the greatest wide receiver in the history of the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans more than the new Philadelphia Eagles’ new wide receiver.

Admittedly, it was a great three-year run for former Ole Miss senior in Nashville, but the dude didn’t even make it to the Olympics in Music City. In fact, all three players who staged Home Run Throwback to Music City Miracle, The Buffalo Bills, were top titans like Brown (Lorenzo Neal to Frank Wycheck to Kevin Dyson, who could forget?). Feelings still hurt.

Here’s Brown stalking a Titans fan, declaring that it’s the best thing to happen to the Air Titans in their strong 60-plus years as a professional soccer franchise.

“For the love of God, you were the best receiver to play for your franchise. Shut up and move on. You’re angry at the wrong guy,” Brown tweeted to a Titans fan who was still angry because he had bailed out some kids at a camp.

AJ Brown really showed this Tennessee Titans fan on Twitter, well

a look. There is nothing but the best for Brown and his new team. The 2022 Eagles will be awesome. Not only can they win the NFC East, but they can land their conference title bout if things go their way this fall. There’s no doubt about it, he’s a Hall of Fame talented at the height of his power, but three years in Nashville don’t give him the right to say he’s the best Titans ever.

In his 43 career games with the Titans, Brown had 185 catches for 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns. He’d repeat it over the course of three more seasons, sure, but here’s where he ranks all the time in the Oilers/Titans tradition: 111 in games played, 19 in receptions, 16 in yards and 12 in touchdowns. Charlie Heneghan, Ernest Givens, Derek Mason and others will love the word…

Ultimately, all participants in Eagles and Titans need to move on from this. Both teams are expected to do big things. However, they each have at least one team in the division with whom they compete for the crown. Philadelphia will battle the Dallas Cowboys for supremacy over the NFC East this fall, while Tennessee will be hoping to prevent the Indianapolis Colts from overtaking them in the AFC South standings.

Brown should completely steer Lane Kevin’s inner path and finish Tennessee overall.
