Terek Hill went to the register about his departure for the Kansas City presidency, and seemed a little bit salty about how things were going.
Hill’s podcast wasn’t short on content. Dolphins’ new wide receiver tried his best to level up the new Tua Tagovailoa quarterback, noting that the Alabama product is more refined than Patrick Mahomes and more.
However, his podcast sings a different tune – Hill wants some kind of vengeful revenge. but why? Wasn’t that what he did?
Several quotes from Hill’s explanation of events were revealing, the first being that he admitted to making one last effort with Andy Reed to stay in KC.
“I did my best,” said Hill, h/t ProFootballTalk. “I spoke to the big man, Andy Reed. I spoke to [Patrick Mahomes]. I’m like, look, can we make something happen? Can we make something? Can guaranteed money make sense to me? Could that make sense for my family, please? “

While Hill’s trading away from KC was initially painted as the decade’s collapse, it was instead more of a financial problem. Bear Hill himself, was upset by the consistency of the goals thrown in his way.

Hill started texting regularly [Drew] Rosenhouse talks about Hill’s frustrations, starting with Hill going from scoring 11 times for 197 yards in a season-opening win over Brown to only getting three for 14 yards in a 36-35 loss to the Ravens, on just four.”
Hill also teased his attempts to leave the Chiefs’ Training to be there for his grandfather during invasive surgery. This was clearly greeted negatively from the team’s point of view. Hill clearly didn’t take that kindly.
Frustration was simmering below the surface at KC for Hill, but his attempts to stay put – even seemingly willing to take less money to do so – suggested he didn’t want to leave the Chiefs and Mahomes at first.
Perhaps regret is starting to creep in after all.
