The third Chicago Bears player arrested this season

Chicago Bears wide ranger David Moore was arrested on drug and weapons charges July 4 in Gainesville, Florida. It’s the third new addition of bears to be caught off-season.

The new front office in Chicago has had some bad luck this season as it has to do with adding new talent.

Moore, who was signed on hoping to give Justin Fields another gun from the outside, was arrested in Florida. He played for the Seahawks from 2017-20 and spent the last year with the Broncos and Packers.

The 27-year-old was released on a $5,000 bond.

David Moore’s arrest: The streak of misfortune continues

Upon signing, Moore seemed excited to be a Chicago bear, calling it a “blessing.”

“It’s just a blessing,” mor . said. “I was at home just hoping, waiting for a call, just a chance to get a chance to play football. The week was going great and I had high hopes, and after training they told me to wait, that they would sign me.”

Moore is the cousin of former Chicago player James Allen, who rushed for 1,978 yards and four touchdowns on the 515 during his 50 appearances with the team.

As for the Bears front desk, that’s not a good sign. All three players arrested this season have been new additions, identified by the front office as positive impacts on their football team.

Ryan Pauls & Co. has a tough road ahead.
