Now that the Utah Jazz has emerged open to the idea of trading Donovan Mitchell, these three teams must phone in to offer a deal.
The Utah Jazz is reportedly receiving invitations for All-Star goalkeeper Donovan Mitchell. That should lead to the acquisition of several NBA teams.
He was a three-time star with jazz for the past five years and signed a contract extension through 2025. Since signing that new deal, things have changed dramatically in Utah.
Head coach Quinn Snyder has resigned, Danny Inge has taken over as CEO of Basketball Operations and Rudy Gobert is traded to the Timberwolves.
Now, it looks like Mitchell will be available if the team puts in the right bid.

Once Adrian Wojnarowski’s report broke, Athletic’s Tony Jones tweeted That Knicks “will quickly try to put together a package for Mitchell”.
It doesn’t make sense from a New York perspective to follow Mitchell. They have venture capital to meet the Utah price, which will likely look similar to what Timberwolves gave up in favor of Gobert. They also have young players that they can bring back.
It would be a lot of fun to get Mitchell and new keeper Galen Bronson together in the backcourt. If New York could find a way to get the trade done while holding on to RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randell, that would be even more exciting.
