The Chicago White Sox rotates counterclockwise down the drain. Rather than competing in one of the league’s weaker divisions, they seem to be a team that others enjoy seeing in the table.

This team can certainly rebound next season and enjoy the success they were hoping for in 2022. They can’t handle as easily as they seemed this time around. First, they’ll have to say goodbye to some fan favorites in this year’s trade deadline. These three White Sox should not be on the list after the trade deadline.
1. White Sox needs to trade Jose Abreu
Jose Abreu should be a candidate to return to the White Sox next year. However, in this season, he should be a summer commercial candidate. The reason is very simple. Abreu is a free agent this winter. A true masher that could help many contenders, his time in Chicago should come to an end even if temporarily.
The summer trade market for the Qatari dirham is an equal cut supply as is the demand. The cool thing about DH is how anyone can take on this role. Abreu, the first baseman created for the many people starting out as DH, has become one of the best options available to teams looking to attack.
After a slow start, Abreu’s temperature rose. He might not hit the 100 RBI mark but that doesn’t mean his season will be a waste. In the right case, his ability to lead in a run may be more valuable than ever.
Leaving the door open for a comeback is important to ease the pain in any potential Abreu trade. One of the hottest players they’ve had lately, it would be a great story for him to win it all elsewhere and then come back again next year and bring the championship pedigree back to the White Sox.
