Backed by my dad’s strength, All-Star Austin Riley’s neglect is no more

Backed by undeniable dad strength, Austin Riley is your newest star in the National League.

Austin Riley is hotter than Hansel right now, as the third Atlanta Braves captain heads into the Midsummer Classic.

John Heyman of the New York Post reported late Saturday morning that Riley will be added to the NL All-Star Game roster. This is the 25-year-old’s first trip to the Midsummer Classic. While at first in disdain for the glorious show, Riley went to a complete rupture the following week. He now has 26 home runs and 60 hitters en route to the last two games of the first half.

Riley became the sixth player on the Braves to make the NL All-Star Game roster up to this point.

The Braves will later confirm that Riley is indeed heading to Los Angeles for the All-Star Game.

Riley will replace 3rd St. Louis Cardinals captain Nolan Arenado on the Senior Circuit.

When you lead the NL in total bases with 201, it’s hard to keep a player like this off the All-Star list. Although Riley hasn’t had time to build parity with voters like Arenado and Manny Machado of San Diego Padres, Riley is finally getting his day under the sun. A new father, world champion and now an all-star superstar. It all comes as aces to Riley!

After winning the Silver Slugger title a year ago and finishing in the top ten in the MVP vote, Riley has officially made it to the National League. Braves Country was waiting for him to run up to his head. Trust us, we hit 30,000 feet on our Delta ride. We can untie our seat belts and move safely around the cabin while we enjoy the ride, one of the most amazing moon shots after another.

Although the Atlanta is still chasing the New York Mets in the NL East race, the Braves are in a much better position than they were this time around a year ago. It looked as if the season was over when Ronald Acuna Jr ripped through the AFC Champions League on the caution track in Miami in the final series of the first half. Don’t be surprised if the Braves put together a 1996-level race here, with Atlanta trying their best to replicate them as world champions.

Justice hasn’t been done much in Braves Country since David went to Arena 6, 1995.
