Attending an MLB All-Star isn’t a good look for Dodgers fans

This is certainly the continuing problem with hosting large-scale sporting events in Los Angeles. There is so much to do! Even on a random Tuesday night, would you expect fans to come watch a regular, boring nine-stroke baseball game instead of going to the beach? Just look at the weather!

The attendance at the MLB All-Star game doesn’t look great

Sure, the game is sold out. Even if there was no chance that MLB would allow that leak. But tickets for these kinds of sporting events are always expensive, too. There is a good chance that even the secondary market was much higher than what the average wage earner could afford.

So, why not just watch it from the bar, or on your TV if you have one?

Baseball is a great sport, especially when so many local and international stars participate in it. But at some point, some fans are priced out.
