Georgian football throws the bag at their coach

The Georgia Bulldogs have made Kirby Smart one of the highest-paid coaches in college football with a new contract.

Smart’s deal was already impressive, paying him more than $10 million per season, but now there’s no doubt that Georgia views Kirby as one of the top coaches in college football.

Kirby won the National Championship last season, finally beating the hump and defeating Nick Saban in the process. Doing so was the last point missing on Smart’s resume as a college football coach, and he did it in style, with local product As quarterback to boot.

The Bulldogs know what they have in Smart – a head coach that brings cash value to the university. In doing so, they want to make sure he gets well compensated as well.
