The Braves are seen as a potential match for the worst hitter in baseball

As Curry notes, the Braves are already without Adam Duvall who was still getting regular playing time before the end of the season injury. Atlanta could definitely use another bat. Is Gallo even worth their time?

The brave would be wrong to think that Joey Gallo just needs a change of scenery

The brave have some kind of gallo on the menu. Marcell Ozuna would do the same as Gallo if he was able to turn things around. The difference is that Gallo is a much better defender at the moment and he is left-handed.

Atlanta bucked some of the trends in Trade Deadline last year when it lined up with quantity over quality at Trade Deadline. They got Duvall, Joc Pederson, Jorge Soler and Eddie Rosario into the trade deadline to promote a questionable offense. It worked fine. The Braves had plenty of depth and future NLCS and World Series MVPs on their roster after the trade deadline.

Gallo is not the answer for Atlanta, and they were wasting their time even trying to find the lightning in a glass with it – a gun glass only because it’s smaller than the typical bottle.

The Yankees would probably hand Gallo away from an elderly former prospect on the last leg of the farm or even an arm of a veteran they could stash in the palace and summon only if necessary.

Brave enough has what Gallo can do best when things go his way. Even for practically nothing, the Braves would do themselves a favor by looking elsewhere. Everyone else has it, so far. As a potential DFA candidate in the coming days already, if they’re interested in picking up another New York snip like Robinson Cano, they just have to wait.
