Why the brave never had a chance

Tuesday is the MLB trade deadline and it looks like the Nationals can trade Juan Soto before the deadline. But the brave did not stand a chance.

The St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers have reached the Juan Soto Lottery Finals with the Washington Nationals. Soto is only 23 years old and is one of the best hitters in the world right now, if not. The Atlanta Braves need some outside help but they weren’t even in the mix.

Here’s why Braves don’t get a chance to acquire Juan Soto before the trade deadline.

Why the brave are not on Juan Soto

There are a few reasons why the Atlanta Braves weren’t even in the cards, and maybe even finally among the 29 teams the Nationals could replace Sotos with.

First of all, it will be a lose-lose situation for both sides. The Braves will have to replace a lot of their talent from the young MLB Nationals. Do they really want five or six of the best MLB players on the Nationals for half a decade or more? On the other hand, the Citizens will admit defeat for the next three seasons (including this one). Do they want to face Juan Soto a dozen or more times a year for the next two years and help the Braves (their division rival) win another World Championship? number.

Second, the brave have no prospects of getting a deal done. They have one possibility in MLB.com’s Top 100 Sites In the shortstop von Grissom, who is 100th in the shortlist. The Braves will have to deal almost exclusively with their MLB team. Interval team trades two or three novice players from their rotation and some regular players are not advised to have one.

It would be a dream for Braves fans to imagine Austin Riley, Ronald Acuna Jr., Matt Olson, Ozzy Albis, Dansby Swanson and Juan Soto in the squad for the next two seasons or more, but that won’t happen, unless they sign Soto into the free agent market, which is also unlikely.
