Aaron Rodgers was interviewed regarding his mental health and made a very surprising discovery about his use of ayahuasca, a psychoactive tea.
From being “vaccinated” and not vaccinated in connection with COVID-19 to his involvement in the wild clearing, it’s becoming clear that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is absolutely smitten with natural and holistic remedies. This apparently extends to his approach to taking care of his mental health.

In a podcast appearance with Onnit founder Aubrey Marcus (a supplement company), Rodgers talked about his use of ayahuasca, a psychedelic tea containing the hallucinogen DMT, to improve his mental health and his practice of self-love, but also to help him as a teammate as well.

“For me, one of the basic tenets of your mental health is self-love. That’s what ayahuasca did to me, it was helping me figure out how to love myself unconditionally,” Rodgers said (h/t to the international system). “Only in unconditional self-love will I truly be able to love others unconditionally. And what better way to work on my mental health than to have an experience like that?”
The successive NFL MVP also said that the process through ayahuasca, a tea that has been used for its properties for thousands of years in various cultures, helped him become a better teammate as a “model of unconditional love” which is just as important as playing well or being a leader. .
While fans, of course, love to poke fun at Rodgers’ holistic approach to many things, mental health is clearly a very important topic and it’s certainly a positive that the Packers star has landed well in that regard.
Shockingly, however, his use of a hallucinogen led him to his point due to the NFL’s longstanding policies regarding banned substances and the fact that players have been suspended for frequent marijuana use. This is definitely worth mentioning in this case.
