Head coach Chip Kelly appears to be leading the team on the right track and has recently signed a four-year extension contract through 2025. Kelly first joined UCLA in 2017 and in 2021 he led the Bruins to an 8-4 season. This was the first season they won since 2015.
Although the Bruins haven’t had the best success in the past, their career with Kelly looks promising and with it extended, it looks like they have a solid chance of another winning season.

2021 UCLA Football Season Review
There is no doubt that UCLA fought hard for a winning season. The biggest three-game winning streak has occurred in the last three matches, where it seemed like the most important to the Bruins. Muasau has not yet played for UCLA, but is expected to lead the quarterback for the 2022 season. In 2021, he completed 108 tackles (65 singles and 43 assists), seven sacks, five forced tackles and one interception.
Jones played for UCLA for several years and is getting better and better every year. In 2021, he completed 18 saves (nine singles and nine assists), 0.5 sacks, and one mandatory fumble.
Jake Bobo, Beletnikov
Jake Bobo has been shortlisted for the Biletnikoff Prize watchlist, which honors the best university recipient annually. Bobo will begin his first season with UCSD in 2022.

Casmir Allen, Hornung
Kazmeir Allen was the seventh Bruin to be selected on the pre-season watchlist. He’s on the watchlist for the Hornung Prize, which is given annually to the most versatile player.
No UCLA player has ever won Hornung, but few have made it to the watch list in the past.
Allen played several different positions with UCLA, most recently becoming a wide receiver in 2021. In 2021, he made eight dash attempts and 93 yards and one touchdown.
