Rich Eisen ruthlessly toured Ohio State into the Pro Football Hall of Fame

While hosting a Pro Football Hall of Fame dinner, Michigan Alum Rich Eisen couldn’t resist the opportunity to roast Ohio State Buckeyes.

NFL Network’s Rich Eisen has spent much of the past decade plus enduring misery as a Michigan Wolverine against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

After the Wolverines won 42-27 last November, the beloved character couldn’t resist the chance to return to Scarlet and Gray in a way that only one person in Maize and Blue could.

At a celebratory dinner for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Aizen walked the Buckeyes around the contest, talking about Hassan Haskins and his magical day of five touchdowns while enjoying the end of eight years of the misery Wolverine suffered at the hands of the Buckeyes. Needless to say, the Buckeye faithful present were not overjoyed.

Rich Eisen brutally wanders Ohio back to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Dinner

It’s been so long, and in fairness to Rich Eisen and the Michigan Wolverines, they’re the ones who will enjoy the moment, at least until the next meeting. They win the game and whoever laughs last laughs the most. This is just the golden rule of competition and life. Ohio does not view it that way.

The point of view from the people of Columbus is that the people of Ann Arbor enjoy this very much, and know well and dominate the Buckeyes since long in recent memory. Plus, the next meeting between the two will be in Columbus, where the Wolverines haven’t won since Drew Henson and David Terrell run the show.

Either way, Rich Eisen provided a good laugh, at least in the eyes of Michigan fans, who are longing for the moment. As for the Ohio crowd, they have to put up with it, and they may end up hearing it again unless they win the next meeting. Sports are fun, right? As are the discounts.
