Marcus Perino is the Bellator 284 fighter you should watch out for

Bellator 284 will feature many interesting fighters, but Marcus Perino is the one to watch out for.

When Bellator 284 begins, MMA fans will be everywhere to have fun. The card is one of the deepest cards in recent memory and there isn’t even a main event fight for the title. Instead, fans will have a great reunion between Neiman Gracie and Goethe Yamauchi. However, two superstars focused on submission isn’t the only reason to tune in, as rising prospect Marcos Perino snatches wins and makes a name for himself.

24-year-old Breno from Brazil is 14-2 and finishes more things than Joey Chestnut in a sausage-eating competition. He’s had eight KO/TKO to his name and five more hits, with one of his wins coming by decision. He’s also not someone to be easily let down; As none of his losses came from a KO/TKO.

To be clear when we’re talking about his endings, this isn’t the guy who tags a guy and gets a TKO by dropping hammers on a fallen opponent like he’s the evil Mario. No, this guy has the power of hitting the house, the knockout punch. Of the eight KO/TKO, three were original, light, with dead eyes.

Rare for a man in his weight class.

Marcus Perino has a huge mission ahead of Bellator 284

Breno makes his Bellator debut in Bellator 284 and usually, when a guy fights his first fight in promotion, he gets a nice introduction. Especially a 20-year-old prospect. Not Breno, though, because he’s going to get Josh Hill. Hill, for those new to Bellator, is a 35-year-old fighter who is 21-4, and 3-1 at Bellator.

He’s ranked 9th in the bantamweight weight rankings and while he’s not an ultimate playboy like Breno, he’s tough on anyone. Especially as the 20-year-old is fighting the biggest battle of his career.

It wouldn’t be an easy exit for the young Brazilian, and a win here would send Prino into the top 10 after just one fight.

Bellator 284: Neiman Gracie vs. Goiti Yamauchi takes place Friday, August 12, 2022, live from the Sanford Pentagon, Sioux Falls, SD. Follow up with FanSided MMA for all the news and highlights.
