Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields and Kansas City President Patrick Mahomes will meet with representatives from the first team on Saturday afternoon.
The NFL season (pre) is officially here.
The Chicago Bears will host the Kansas City Chiefs in their first preseason tournament. For KC, this will be their first match without Tyreek Hill, in a (almost new) attack as a result. Expect Mahomes to try to spread the ball around A LOT, especially in pre-season, to try and figure out how to adjust his goals abroad. Specifically, Mahomes need to know who they can trust.
As for the Bears, Justin Fields is learning a whole new system. Chicago launched a full system in Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace. They will be replaced by Matt Eberflus and Ryan Pauls. Same first names, different family names. This tour would ideally be a little different for Fields & Co.

Will Patrick Mahomes play in pre-season?
Mahomes, unlike most quarterbacks, appreciates pre-season and the potential lessons he can learn before each season.
“Yeah, I like getting in there and I like getting hit once,” Mahomes explained. “Once you get hit once, you kind of see that you get hit again as the quarterback. Then I feel like you’re fine.”
Is Justin Fields playing in pre-season?
Currently, Fields is expected to play in his first pre-season game in Chicago. Beginners will likely be running for 15-20 plays, per Eberflus.
