Like any human, though, he has a softer side, and he made a great storyline during Steelers training camp. While driving, Tomlin saw some children arguing in the street. He proceeded to break up the fight mainly by shocking the children.
After spending some time with them, Tomlin invites all the kids to rehearsal, where they get some rough training from Tomlin during their encounter with Neji Harris. Instead of fighting, the children cheered each other on, did not give up in the exercises, and showed flexibility, which are the hallmarks of the Tomlin period.
