Radio host rips Seahawks QB competition to absolute shreds

The position of the Seattle Seahawks quarterback is certainly bad, but one radio host may have gone a little over the top.

As Drew Luke and Jenno Smith vie for the quarterback spot on Pete Carroll’s team, some fans are now just getting started on the sad truth that one of these players will start the season under center.

Carroll seems to think that Seattle can win with either of them as game director. At worst, they’ll be scrambling to try and find a future quarterback. This is the gamble the Seahawks took when they traded the actual franchise QB at Russell Wilson.

Unfortunately, radio host Adam Shane is not happy about that.

Seahawks builds for the future

Look – is this really that hard to understand?

The 2022 NFL Draft quarterback class was considered weak by anyone paying for a position evaluation. However, the class of 2023 could feature some future pros.

If Geno or Lock works, that’s great! The Seahawks might surprise some people. The most likely outcome is their failure, giving Seattle a top pick where they could choose Bryce Young or CJ Stroud.

Locke missed about a week due to the injury, which gave Smith a clear advantage. With only three pre-season games and a few weeks of training, Geno has the advantage right now. Locke returned to training earlier this week, and Carroll commented on his progress.

“He was fine today, yeah, he looked like he’s recovering,” Carol Reporters. “It’s been six, seven days at that now, so it’s as good as it gets back. But you never know until you get out and start running. It’s stuck there, hard, so that’s fine.”

It might be a very long season in Seattle, but don’t fool yourself into thinking this is Carol’s final game.
