Chicago Cubs quarterback Marcus Stroman set fire to the hated home-run ball collector on Twitter amid a controversial YouTube video and thread of tweets.
Chicago Cubs quarterback Marcus Stroman responded to a series of tweets originating from a home-based collector complaining about security at a Colorado Rockies game. The collector, Zack Hample, uploaded a YouTube video titled “Dear MLB: This is not HOW TO TREAT FANS in Games – More Drama at Coors Field.”
Hample posted the video on his Twitter, which garnered many reactions. Strowman responded to one of the negative reactions, to which Humble responded to Strowman by saying, “Dear Marcus, thanks for the ball you threw at me before Game 2 of the 2016 ALDS race in Arlington.”
Strowman then replied, βIt’s really funny how much you lose. Stemming [expletive] A man takes baseballs away from young men and makes videos complaining about security doing their job. You are the definition of a clown. lol.”
Stroman isn’t known for being controversial, so the situation must have really hit a nerve.
Cubs bowler Marcus Strowman usually sticks to the job
Stroman is usually openly focused on getting the job done and is not usually involved in drama or controversy. He doesn’t have the best season. So far, it has produced an ERA of 4.10, hitting an average against .246 and a WHIP of 1.22.
In general, cubs do not have much turnover. Of all the MLB teams, Chicago has the eighth-worst ERA (4.21), ninth-worst opponent batting average (.249) and Sixth Worst Whip (1.33).
Despite the tough season, Strowman won’t at least have to worry about hitting Homer on Hample because he doesn’t usually hit.
