New York Mets cult hero Bartolo Colon, humorously nicknamed “Big Sexy,” joined New York for the Old Timers Saturday night. He may not be in the majors anymore, but he’s still confident that if he was, he’d still be out.
According to MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo, Colon was asked if he’s still out in the majors, and he replied, “Yes, although I’m a bit old.”
He played for several teams during his 21 seasons career, and he definitely made an impact on everyone. Although he wasn’t the best bowler in the league, he was truly one of a kind.

The Mets tweeted a video of Colon training the courts, and it looks like he still has his skill.
During his long career, he has produced an ERA of 4.12, a hitter average for .268 and a WHIP of 1.31. Play for 12 different teams.
He made his MLB debut in 1997 with the Cleveland Indians, now Cleveland Guardians. Retired in 2018 with the Texas Rangers.
The game will certainly be interesting as the match will be Cologne against Doc Godin, who played most of his career with New York. During his 16-season career, he produced an ERA of 3.51, a BAA of .244 and a WHIP of 1.26.
The game will undoubtedly be fun to watch, and many will relive the good days of Kowloon’s share.
