Chimaev is now the No. 3 welterweight competitor in the UFC after his unanimous victory over Gilbert Burns at UFC 273 in April.
In the co-main event, Tony “El Cucuy” Furgeson returned to welterweight against Li “The Leech” Jingliang. With only four months left for Forgoson to be on the wrong end of this year’s knockout insane Michael Chandler nominee. He now moves on to the weightlifting class to take on the powerful Jingliang in a match with many fans scratching their heads.
