The 2022 NFL season is in the works, and here are 3 bold predictions for the Steelers’ Week 1 game against Bengals AFC North in Cincinnati.

The first week of the 2022 season kicked off with the Buffalo Bills’ victory over the Super Bowl holders Los Angeles Rams Thursday night.

With a full slate of NFL games coming this weekend, the AFC has a first-week division game in Ohio with the Steelers against the Bengals.

Let’s take a look at three bold predictions for this weekend’s game…

3 Bold Predictions for the Steelers vs. Bengals Week 1

The Bengals offensive line will face mounting pain early on

It was no secret that the Cincinnati Bengals’ offensive line was the weak link in the Super Bowl last year.

The Bengals set out to improve this streak and protect franchise midfielder Joe Burrow. They invested a lot of money to do this.

La’el Collings when he’s healthy is one of the best right tackles in the league and it will show when the Bengals take the field how much better he is on the right side.

Ted Karas and Alex Capa are better players than the Bengals in 2021, but they’re not top of the line. They will be tasked with playing one of the best defensive lines in the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Alex Highsmith, Cam Heyward and TJ Watt will all be a lot to deal with on Sunday, and while I think the Bengals attack will do a lot, I think early on there will be mounting trouble with the new streak.

Generally by the end of the season they will be in the first half of the league, but I think they will have a hard time in the first week game.
