Why doesn’t Arch Manning replace injured Queen Ewers in Texas?

There’s a reason Arch Manning hasn’t replaced Quinn Ewers at the Texas quarterback.

While Quinn Ewers suffered what appears to be a serious injury in his second week of Texas with the Alabama Crimson Tide, there’s a good explanation for why Arch Manning hasn’t played yet.

Well, that’s because Manning is still in high school, controlling any lower-level middle school the greater New Orleans area can hope to provide for him. Manning is in his final season at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, the same university as his father Cooper, and uncles Eli, Peyton and Odell Beckham Jr. won’t enroll in Texas, or anywhere else, until early January.

In the meantime, get ready to get ready for the Hudson Card which contains all the cards in this Texas crime.

Texas FA: Why Arch Manning Didn’t Replace Quinn Ewers After Injury

Somehow, somehow, Texans didn’t clench their teeth by Alabama in Week 2. The Crimson Tide has met its struggles with the relentless rush of passing by the Longhorns. Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young spent half of the match on his back gazing at the bright Texas sun above him. If the longhorns manage to overcome the discomfort, they may return in some circles, shortly.

Many people expected Texans to do better in Year Two under coach Steve Sarkissian. No amount of monkey business will be tolerated. The Longhorns are recruiting on a level to help them prepare for the big transition from the Big 12 to the SEC. They may still have a year left before they become a serious contender for the national title, but they still battle hard with the meow of the Evil Empire.

As for what Ewers’ injury could mean for Manning, that really depends on his severity. A broken collarbone could mean the end of the season for the former five-star from South Lake Carroll. The idea was for Manning to boot when he got to Austin anyway, but if Card could do magic tricks on this offense all year long, he might not be the one to move on. Ewers is already burning free.

Ewers’ not being the star quarterback in Texas will certainly complicate matters entering next year in Austin.
