App State fans rejoiced after Texas A&M’s outrage, as they took to the streets of Boone to celebrate the victory in style.

The Appalachian State has achieved the impossible before. So of course they did it again on Saturday, edging out sixth place at Texas A&M on the road.

The Mountaineers took advantage of Aggie’s ineffective attack to grab the lead in the fourth quarter and then held on to victory.

How did the fans celebrate? They took to the streets.

There’s nothing quite like the unparalleled joy of getting together with your fellow fans to celebrate in the streets.

Mountaineers deserve nothing less. Despite sending a list that vastly outperformed in terms of star power, App State went toe-to-toe with the Aggies and outdid them.

Ahmani punched Marshall in the game’s first touchdown in the second quarter before Devon Achan ran from 26 yards to tie things up.

Henry Pearson found Chase Price from nine yards in the third quarter, but Akan hit back by returning the kickoff that followed at 95 yards for the touchdown.

The fourth quarter is when things get real. App State went in 18 games, 63 yards, and nine minutes finished in a 29-yard field goal.

With just over eight minutes left in the game, they made sure Texas A&M had no answer. The Aggies missed a field goal attempt and tied the game and the Mountaineers ran out of time and ended their surprise win.

Best of all, App State got $1.5 million to come to College Station. They left with money and victory.
