LSU football fans go too far with NSFW chanting about the injured player

LSU’s student football division completely embarrassed themselves by directing an NSFW hymn to an injured player in Mississippi.

There’s a really simple rule to follow in college football, or any sport for that matter: Never cheer for injuries or rock an injured player.

The LSU student division didn’t seem to get that memo. They broke the rule in the worst possible way while watching their team take on Mississippi State.

When a Bulldog player got injured and had to be cared for by athletic trainers, LSU fans were caught in the student section on a mic guiding an NSFW hymn his way.

It sure sounded like they were chanting, “He’s a dad***” before the ESPN cameras cut short.

There is no place in sports for that. It doesn’t matter how angry you are or how not serious you are. It is a fundamental issue of fitness. These fans should know better. They are rightly criticized on Twitter at the moment.

It’s a shame that this kind of thing happens. Unfortunately, a group of fools is always able to embarrass themselves at any moment.

Tigers and Bulldogs fought an all-night battle on Saturday. MSU took an early lead 13-0 but LSU worked its way back, scoring three unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter to take the 31-16 lead.
