Nathaniel Hackett’s Every Fault Is Nightmare Fuel for Bronco Fans (VIDEO)

Russell Wilson, in general, just fine. Hackett isn’t, with Denver routinely looking like the worst coached team in the NFL due to some terrible time management skills.

To be fair with Hackett, he has been involved in these two games. But it was his decision not to play his game much in pre-season, and his decision not to trust Wilson for fourth and fifth place last week in Seattle.

Quick learning is not one of the strengths of the NFL teams. For everyone who has praised the Broncos for naming Hackett’s head coach in the first place, it’s never too late to delete that clip from your Twitter timeline.

Broncos: Nathaniel Hackett learns on the job

Hackett lost all his time-outs by 7:38 from the fourth quarter. Heck, he had his own fan base cheering around the clock so the team knew when to catch the ball. Usually, this is a form of phishing, but not in Denver.

The young coach deserved some time to adjust after his first game. Bugs aren’t unknown in Denver – heck, they dealt with Vic Fangio. But Hackett is on thin ice given the Broncos’ high expectations.
