Tom Brady let his emotions get the best of him as he channeled his frustrations onto a tablet, but made sure to apologize on Twitter after the match.
The Buccaneers offense had another frustrating day against the Saints on Sunday but Tom Brady and his cohorts ended up relying on their defense and came away with a 20-10 victory.
With 17 points in the fourth quarter, Brady was limited to just one field goal as the New Orleans defense seemed to get under his skin.
It got so intense that the quarterback hit a Microsoft tablet off the bench. It was a close-up mirror of his antics of throwing a palette at saints in 2021.
Well, things turned and Brady was celebrating while also acknowledging that his crimes against the tablet type would put him in Mimi prison.
Tom Brady apologized for breaking another disc
“A great win to get to 2-0. Shout out to the next D. Ugly matters too. And sorry for breaking that tablet, I think this is going to be another Twitter meme or something,” Brady said. And get ready for next week. Green Bay is coming to town, let’s go.”
With the game closing in on three each, Brady was able to engineer two leads to score in the fourth quarter, taking advantage of James Winston’s two interceptions. Bucs quarterback Prishad Berryman hit a touch pass for 28 yards and then made a 47-yard pass for Ryan Sukopfield to put Tampa Bay’s team ahead by 10. Mike Edwards put the game away by returning a 68-yard interception for a hit.
The Bucs’ offensive has only scored twice in two games, so it’s easy to see why Brady is frustrated right now. We’ll see if he has anything to apologize for next week with the Packers on tap.
