Kevin Holland announced his retirement on Instagram

Kevin Holland announces his retirement on Instagram.

Looks like Kevin Holland just retired.

“I got paid well for 30 in just over a month,” he wrote in a graphic quote on his Instagram account on Thursday morning. Next career choice?? In the photo caption, he simply placed the hand of peace emoji.

The Netherlands turned 30 on November 5.

He supported this post with two Instagram stories, the first being an article by Daniel Rodriquez, who was supposed to fight at UFC 279, set to fight Neil Magney next, not rebook their fight. The caption reads, “LOL dint I’m just ordering this junk, this is brutal.”

A second Instagram story reads: “Retired before 30.”

Is Kevin Holland really retired?

There is no official word from the UFC on the power of the retirement but most fans seem to believe he is withdrawing “Conor McGregor’s retirement” as he announced it, but he doesn’t really mean it.

Someone said, “Stop lying, brother.”

“I hope this is a joke. Favorite fighter on the list,” another fan wrote.

Another commented: “Why are you putting an end to his bro, we know you’re still going to fight.”

Another fan wrote, “No no no! This is definitely not the wave. Goodbye with jokes.”

Holland comes out losing in the first round to Khameh Shemayev, before winning back-to-back titles with Tim Mainz and Alex Oliveira.
