Dave Aranda channels Key and Peele with Baylor coach slap line

Baylor head coach Dave Aranda was pitted during the Bear’s Week 4 game against the Iowa State Cyclones.

The 17 Baylor Bears were on the road for Week 4, facing undefeated Iowa hurricanes. During the match, the Hurricanes were subjected to several penalties, which resulted in coach Matt Campbell yelling at the referees, especially in one controversial call.

As for Baylor’s head coach, Dave Aranda, he was elated with his team’s performance, to say the least.

The Bears managed their third win of the season, defeating the Hurricanes 31-24.

After leading 17-14 in the first half, the whole second half was Baylor. The Bears were able to increase their lead with a 19-yard touchdown run by Richard Rees, and a 38-yard touchdown pass from Blake Shapen to wide receiver Gavin Holmes to take the 31-14 lead.

Speaking of the aforementioned penalties that infuriated Campbell, Hurricanes were called for eight penalties totaling 78 yards. On the other hand, Baylor received three penalties for 30 yards.

Baylor won the spinning battle, receiving two passes from Iowa quarterback Hunter Deckers.

Two youngsters completed 19 of 26 pass attempts for 238 yards and three touchdown attempts.

Baylor will be looking to carry the momentum into week five, as they face the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
