The Green Bay Packers had to put veteran player Sammy Watkins in reserve on Saturday. Young players can really benefit from that.
Watkins is out for at least four weeks, according to NFL rules. With that said, Green Bay will need some young players to rise in his absence. Producer Clemson shared the burden with Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard as the only future Packers Corps veterans.
Aaron Rodgers is his weapon of choice for Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders this off season amid tough contract talks. With that said, Green Bay chose to pick two wide receivers in the NFL Draft at Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.
Watson is in question this week, but he and Dobbs You must take a step forward if Green Bay hopes to win the NFC North this season. There is no better time than the present.
With Sammy Watkins out, the rookie Packers must step up
