Brutus took the toughest hit Ohio State had all day against Wisconsin

Ohio football didn’t have so much of an issue with Wisconsin that Brutus actually took the game’s hardest hit when he was knocked out by a hamster ball.

Teams across the country were chock-full of bids in the fourth week. Ohio was not one of them.

The Buckeyes were dominant in the Big Ten Conference game against Wisconsin. In fact, they were so good, the Badgers could hardly put a finger on them.

Today’s fiercest encounter was actually for a fan participating in a competition during a media timeout involving hamster balls. The target was the Ohio State mascot Brutus.

Prepare to pray for Brutus, who showed his strength by reappearing after being fully laid down.

That’s why you should rest your head on a pole on or near every soccer field. Even amulets can explode.

CJ Stroud’s offense and Ohio State offense are starting to come in early. They jumped to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

Stroud came out with 281 yards and five touchdowns. Meanne Williams and Trevion Henderson both rushed for more than 100 yards. Emeka Egbuga picked up six passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the Buckeyes defense allowed seven points in the first three quarters. Wisconsin saved two late goals to make the result look more positive than it was.

Wisconsin isn’t a push, so sure enough Ohio issued the statement that hit them hard. Undoubtedly, Brutus would take more hits like this if it meant watching the Buckeyes win like this every week.
