It took a little longer than anyone expected, but Aaron Judge is one of the two MLS players with the most home runs in a season.
During Wednesday night’s game between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays, the judge had a full count and obliteration of a baseball thrown by Tim Meeza into the left playing field for his 61st home run this season.
The Yankees celebrated, and Judge’s mother Roger Maris, Jr. hugged in the stands of Rogers Center. Now that #61 is out of the way, when can fans expect to see Judge 62’s home for 2022?

After the September 28 game, New York has seven games left on its schedule. They have three games at Yankee Stadium against the Baltimore Orioles, before ending their regular season on the road against the Texas Rangers.
