3 coaches the Broncos could have hired instead of Nathaniel Hackett

The Denver Broncos may have made a huge mistake on GOB Bluth in hiring Nathaniel Hackett.

Just four weeks after Nathaniel Hackett took over as head coach of the Denver Broncos, he doesn’t appear to be the man to lead the West Asian side to the promised land.

Hackett was hired away from the Green Bay Packers to hope that Aaron Rodgers would come to the Rockies. While he’s had success as an offensive coordinator in Titletown and with the Jacksonville Jaguars before that, it doesn’t look like Hackett can break through as a head coach in the NFL. Despite trading with Russell Wilson this season, it looks like the Broncos Country will be in trouble.

It was weird when he was set, but the Broncos could have had these guys on Hackett instead.

Coach Miami Dolphin

Mike McDaniel was a ball boy for Mike Shanahan’s teenage Denver Broncos

Although he wasn’t a candidate for most of the vacancies in an off-season tournament last season, early returns on Mike McDaniel with the Miami Dolphins are off well. While he has to work around the perpetual organizational chaos in South Florida, the former San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator grew up in Denver and was a ball boy when he was a high school student for Mike Shanahan.

McDaniel may not have a large physical presence at all, but he is incredibly innovative and very elegant. And most importantly, this party meant something beyond the world to him. Being able to play for your childhood team is one thing, but to lead that team, how do you set a price for that? Regardless, Denver will have a strong offensive identity by running the ball a ton with McDaniel.

Every win McDaniel gets to drive the dolphins is a once-praised reminder of the Broncos Country.
