Packers defender drops f-bomb to describe London experience

Rasul Douglas is not a fan of traveling to London to play a regular season match.

In Week 4, the NFL played its first game of the 2022 season in London, where the Minnesota Vikings defeated the New Orleans Saints 28-25. But in Week Five, another game is taking place at Tottenham Hotspur, with the Green Bay Packers facing the New York Giants.

Corner player Rassoul Douglas is familiar to play in London, and let’s just say he’s not a fan of it. Douglas’ quote below comes from Ryan Wood of USA Today.

Douglas Messenger is not a fan of the London experience

Douglas doesn’t like the fact that he can’t do anything while in London, the team trains, plays the game, and then leaves.

As Wood points out, this will be the second time Douglas has played in the London game. Back in 2018, as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, Douglas played at Wembley Stadium in the team’s 24-18 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Packers play their first ever game in London. Meanwhile, the Giants are a perfect 2-0 in London, including winning the first-ever match to be played in England. In fact, this game will feature two teams with a winning record for the first time in its 15 years of existence. Both packs and giants have 3-1 records.

The Green Bay defense will have to face the electric impulse attack in New York, led by Saquon Barclay, who The league averaged 192.5 yards per game During the first four weeks of the season. However, there is uncertainty as to who will play the quarterback for the Giants. While Daniel Jones has shown progress in practice after sustaining an ankle injury in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears, there has been no official announcement on whether he will start the game. Tyrod Taylor is recovering from a concussion, which means New York will likely go to third-series quarterback Davis Webb.

Both teams will be looking to leave Tottenham Hotspur with their fourth win of the season. As for the trip to London and the experience, it’s safe to say that Douglas is not looking forward to it.
